Our Taproom, like our Brewery, was built with sustainable development firmly in mind.

A concrete carpark became a large outdoor garden. More than 40 mature trees create a beautiful microclimate with cleaner air and natural shade. Fungi was used instead of chemical fertilizers. Water permeable eco-friendly, building materials. Native plants. Better for the environment, local birds and animals and our staff and customers.

The result is a space that in Summer is several degrees cooler than immediately outside, something that is being studied by urban planners for use elsewhere.

In 2025 we added a large solar power plant to the roofs of our taproom and brewery. For more details click here

Friday & Saturday: 10:00 – 02:00

Our Garden

We’re lucky to have a huge garden, with plenty of seating and tables sheltered under the shade of more than 40 mature trees. There’s also an outside bar, a large terrace, an area for DJs and Live Music and events. When the sun is shining, there’s not much that beats an ice-cold beer in The Garden!

Food

Submarine serves up their delicious selection of gourmet burgers, fries and salads using only natural, local ingredients – 100% pure beef from a Croatian farm, burger buns from a Zagreb bakery, lettuce and tomatoes from Slavonia, and truffles from Istria. Don’t miss our special offer lunches

Full Circle uses our brewery’s spent grain as high-quality animal-feed for high welfare local farmers. Less waste. Better quality, local raised meat. They offer fried chicken as well as vegetarian and vegan wraps and burgers with Oyster Mushrooms and Beyond Chicken.

Music

This has played a key role. Our previous taproom hosted Jazzy Jeff, Gerd Jansen, Norman Jay MBE, Andrew Weatherall, Grandmaster Flash, Soil & Pimp, Crazy P Soundsystem, Lee Scratch Perry, Mad Professor, Pharoahe Monch, and many more.
